Radiographs
Atlas Orthogonal X-rays are taken for the purpose of ruling out fracture, or pathology and are used for analyzing the biomechanical and structural change resulting from subluxation.
Post Radiographs – X-rays taken after the first adjustment to assess the spinal correction resulting from the initial atlas adjustment. Dr. Nygaard will learn valuable information about what happened bio-mechanically during the adjustment and whether refining the adjustment angles can provide a more specific spinal correction.
Atlas Orthogonal Precision C-arm X-ray Unit: Dr. Sweat worked with engineers to develop a precision x-ray unit designed for taking the precise radiographs required for Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic. It differs from any x-ray unit made by having a fixed focal spot on the film buckey that insures the precision x-rays required in the Atlas Orthogonal work.
