Your Second Visit to Our Asheville Practice

Asheville chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain things first.

On your second visit, Dr. Nygaard will give a report of his findings that include the results of your examination, x-ray findings and any unique health variables unique to your case. You will have plenty of time to ask questions. Dr. Nygaard encourages you to bring your spouse or partner with you on your second visit so that they can understand the nature of your condition.

Once your findings have been thoroughly covered, Dr. Nygaard will make specific recommendations as to the best course of action. If the examination and radiographic findings indicate you can be helped with chiropractic care, you will be accepted as a patient and receive your first Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic adjustment using the Atlas Orthogonal Percussion Instrument.

Your second visit will typically require about 30 minutes.

Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Asheville residents - Chiropractor Asheville Dr. David Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Asheville chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
